Five Horror Haiku, by Denny Marshall

Pile of dead bodies
Hundred forty-four in all
It was really gross

Sharp white prison bars
Once felt floor moist and moving
Realized they are teeth

In recent murder
Problem with jurisdiction
Alien killer

Not knifes or swords
Dozen alien fingers
Attached to each hand

Sharp jigsaw teeth
Long black claws slice up steel door
Monster crawls through hole

Denny E. Marshall has had art, poetry and fiction published. One recent credit is poetry in Night To Dawn 30 (Oct. 2016). See more at www.dennymarshall.com
